For large component and high speed heavy duty machining we utilise Mazak’s VTC-800/30SR 5 axis prismatic milling technology. Having a large working envelope of 3000mm x 800mm x 720mm enables us to offer travelling column multiple surface machining of heavy and large components in a single setup.
This additional capacity means we can offer more to OEMs and companies within challenging markets, such as aerospace, defence and associated advanced sectors. The VTC-800/30SR 5 axis prismatic machines are highly versatile with 3 metres of X-axis and 800 mm of Y-axis travel.
This capacity along with others, makes Metaltech Precision one of few subcontract machinists who offer such a broad range of CNC machining operations, all under one reliable roof.
